You have to believe in yourself. If you don't no one else will. People are simply way too busy thinking about the things they should be doing to improve their daily situation. If you are just sulking in one corner, you have less chances of getting noticed. People will never care about you. Fairy tales are not true. Maybe if you meet your wife or husband in this kind of setting where you get to be the damsel in distress and they are one of the knights is shining armour, you just got lucky.
